Brockville and Kemptville Ribfests have both had the pleasure of hiring Marleen Fawcett and her band for our events. Such great music from true professionals who make putting a festival together that much easier. Big Brothers and Big Sisters are thankful to have had such a wonderful act grace our stage.

I have enjoyed Marleen's music for many years. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, she created her recent album "Roots". Every song on this is so well done !! Her voice has always been absolutely beautiful. When I listen to her music from the past to the present, she sings like she loves what she is singing. There is so much feeling in her voice. This is the reason why I enjoy her music. She sings like she means it!!

I love Marleen's voice. I have listened to her sing at many events, along with her back up band who are excellent musicians. If you want a fun, talented , dynamic group to play at your event, you will be very impressed. And they add fun! I also love to hear her sing " At Last", by Etta James her voice carries this song wonderfully. I have had goosebumps and tears listening to Marleen sing ....truly talented.
Marleen has released 3 CD's. Her latest, "Roots" is a mix of good old rock, some r & b and a couple of gospel songs. She has some great tunes on her latest release - some fun stuff, and oh, one of my favorites, "Rainy Night in Georgia".

Marleen is one of my favourite people. Her refreshing honesty comes through in her singing - soulful, heartfelt and powerful.

Marleen thank you for all you did to make The Kemptville Lions Concert Sept. 15th such a great event. Really, you, Ed Bim and Rodger blew it away. Your performance was awesome. Most of all thank you for the personal touch you extended to The Kemptville Lions Club that helped make the evening a success. Hope we can do it again!

Dear Marleen,
Although I'm not a fan of Facebook, and probably won't "go in there", I just wanted to let you know how wonderful I think you are. The boys in the band are fantastic, but I just love, love, love, your voice. You made the day even better by your amazing voice and thank you so, so much.
